About Daugherty Appliance Sales & Services
Daugherty's has been in Duluth since the early 1900s as a hardware store. In 1978, Scott started at the Daugherty Hardware as a service technician. In 2008, with the closing of the Daugherty Hardware store, Scott opened Daugherty Appliance. We carry the major brands Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Samsung, Frigidaire, GE, Broan, Vent-a-Hood, Amana, Danby, Speed Queen, Rheem, Unique, Serta, Simmons, and the Big Green Egg.
We at Daugherty Appliance strive to give you that great customer service you don't get at the big box stores. We offer a personal, local, low pressure atmosphere to shop in. With our buy group buying power, we are always very competitive in pricing; in fact we usually beat their price on the bottom line. Our very knowledgeable sales staff will help walk you through your appliance purchase and delivery so you get the right appliance to fit your needs. We also make sure you get any available rebates. You will see how easy a new appliance purchase can be with our knowledgeable and experienced sales staff and professional delivery service. In addition, you will have peace of mind knowing our factory-trained service techs can take care of any issues you might have.
Our appliance parts department carries the parts a do-it-yourself person needs. We also might be able to give you that little tip so your repair goes a little easier. If we don't have the part in stock, we can order it and have it normally next day.
In 2010, we opened a store in my home town Cloquet. Our Cloquet store carries a full line of appliances just like the Duluth store but also features a sleep source mattress gallery, and a full line of The Big Green Eggs and grilling accessories.
We carry Serta and Simmons beds with all the bedding accessories. We carry names such as iComfort, iSeries, Majestic Sleep, Perfect Sleeper, and Beauty Sleep. We also have mattress protectors, pillows, sheets, and the staff to help you make the right purchase for a good night's sleep.
